Today Julia Binh An Atkins became my sister! I will be very special to her because I am her big brother and I can teach her things. I will teach her words, mostly common and proper nouns.
After the adoption ceremony, we rode on a bus back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way we stopped at a place that sells coconut candy that they make in Ben Tre. It was kind of good.
For supper tonight I had peanut butter and honey on a yummy type of french bread that they make in Vietnam. It is called banh mi. I love it.
Bye for now.

Can you give Julia a message for me?
This is your uncle Goah. You don't know yet how fortunate you are to have an uncle like me. (Neither do any of your cousins. Or their parents, I guess....)
But welcome to our family!
We are very excited to get to meet you. Your cousin Amelia has a message for you. She wants to tell you that "You are cute."
Good luck learning common and proper nouns from your brother. If you are extremely good, he may even let you in on gerunds!

Tell Julia that her Aunt Cindy thinks she is adorable and do me a favor and gently kiss her head for me. Have a good time in Vietnam and we will talk to you soon.

Aunt Cindy
P.S. I think you and Helen have a very special job being Julia's big brother and sister. I couldn't think of any better people for the job!! Take care, hugs and kisses!!
